Guess who is coming back to Melbourne in just a few short weeks?
You guessed it.. Mr and Mrs Claus, Rudolph and their magical little friends are all headed back to our little city again this year to star at Santa's Magical Kingdom at Caulfield Racecourse.
To be honest I am not sure who is more excited, the kids or me! We have been fortunate enough to have attended for the past two years (you can read my initial review here) and cannot wait to take the kids again this year.
About the Event!
If you are yet to experience this magical interactive walk through experience, then do yourself a favour and get along this year! This year the event will include:
- A magical Christmas walk through wonderland
- Snowland and meet the Snow Queen
- A free gift, when you meet Santa
- A brand new International Circus Spectacular
- Christmas Craft Village
- Gingerbread Land, where you can decorate your own gingerbread man (a favourite of mine!)
- Interactive Letter Writing area and Storytelling area with Mrs Claus
- Amusement Rides and Games
And would you believe ALL of this is included in the ticket prices and yes the rides are unlimited and cater for various ages - how good is that?!

What do we love most about Christmas time? Seeing the Christmas magic we experienced as kids, now reflected on our kids faces!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of christmas is seeing the happiness and excitement on my childrens faces when we go on late night adventures to see all the christmas lights ☺
ReplyDeleteI love getting together with family and friends during Christmas. I love how everyone is in a good mood; this period is just so magical, it really does make me feel like a child again :) Nadia Newen
ReplyDeleteI love spending time with my family and friend - away from work!
ReplyDeleteI love the magic! I love seeing the children's faces light up! I love the carols, the cookies and tinsel and the food! I love that it's a time of family and love. I love it all!
ReplyDeleteChristmas Miracles and making dreams come true. As a family we enjoy buying a gift for the Christmas wishing tree appeal and it's helpful too as the kids then show us what they would like.
ReplyDeleteMy little Christmas miracles Charlotte and Patrick always keep the magic of Christmas alive with a twinkle of excitement in their eyes.
December is my most favourite month as we get to spend alot of time as a family.Apart from decorating the Christmas tree, having a big feast with family and friends. We love watching Christmas decorations like Myer window etc. It's fun and you get the real Christmassy feeling. We have heard so much about Santa's Magical Kingdom. We would love to make it as our Christmas tradition and experience this amazing, magical experience.
ReplyDeleteChristmas is all about spending time with family and friends on this magical day. Also counting all the blessings we have and also eating too much. Most of all seeing the kids excited and happy faces makes the day special.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas, always have, and now with two little ones, it's an even more amazing time of year. I love the lights, the music, the joy on little faces, the giving, the family time, the food, everything!
ReplyDeleteEvery year, we never miss,
ReplyDeleteHot turkey, potatoes and over-cooked peas,
We eat too much, then all we can do,
Is recover by resting under any cool tree! Lyndall Crisp
I love it as it is the one time we can get the whole family together including those travelling from interstate and overseas. Really makes it a happy day surrounded by love and lots of food!
ReplyDeleteDecorating the Christmas tree with my three young daughters is definitely one of my favourite things about Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI am a collector of Christmas ornaments, and I have boxes upon boxes of them. We add to that collection each year when we visit the city to see the Myer Christmas windows. The girls select one ornament each from Myer.
When it comes time to decorate the tree, we have Christmas carols playing (rather loudly - sorry neighbours!)
It takes us quite a while to decorate, but we love it as it symbolises the beginning of the most wonderful time of year!
I also love collecting food and toiletries for Wesley mission. Last year, with the help of friends and family, I managed to donate 10 boxes filled with goodies. I am collecting again this year.
Thank you for this lovely opportunity. Fingers crossed!

I love that our that our household traditions start on 1 December with the family putting up the tree, decorating the house, kids write their wish list, post letters to Santa and write on Christmas cards, my kids choose 2 tags from Kmart wishing tree so give joy to someone that we don't know. We enjoy going into town seeing the windows and other Christmas displays and in the evening driving around and seeing people's Houses decorated. The most importantly we love the atmosphere in the shopping centre, the smiles on peoples faces and Christmas carols
ReplyDeleteCatching up with the whole family (aunts uncles and cousins) xmas eve. Its been a family traditon since i was a little girl. Santa makes an appearance at this as well.
ReplyDeleteThe time of giving: The Christmas holidays bring out the best in others, because it is important to make sure that we remember those who are less fortunate.
ReplyDelete***i would love to win this for my Melbourne family.
